 " Bottisham was in some ways unique in that many of the airfield buildings were dotted throughout the village and not on the airfield. The museum is on the old Site 4 of Bottisham airfield & we are fortunate that site 4 survives in its entirety virtually as it was in 1944.” Jason Webb ------------------------------------------------------- Having visited there this summer you really do get the feeling of going back and treading in places where things were so different 60+ years ago.All the buildings are in close proximity and to me once they have been destroyed and built on that would be a bit of history gone.
