" Bottisham was in some ways unique in that many of the airfield buildings were dotted throughout the village and not on the airfield. The museum is on the old Site 4 of Bottisham airfield & we are fortunate that site 4 survives in its entirety virtually as it was in 1944.”

Having visited there this summer you really do get the feeling of going back and treading in places where things were so different 60+ years ago.All the buildings are in close proximity and to me once they have been destroyed and built on that would be a bit of history gone.
