Thank you for your reply.

My earlier post was unclear. The toggle canopy commands function normally on the ground; British canopies toggle in the air; 109 canopies can be closed while airborne.

Can anyone open the 109 canopy in-flight?

Why do you want to open it in flight?

Also try with anthropomorphic off. It's rather buggy IMO.

I like to open the canopy when I land. It allows me to lean over the side for a better view of the ground.

I enjoy the layer of difficulty provided by anthropomorphic control. With it on you have to decide not only what to do, but in what order to do it.
