Hi,
it would be interesting for me if someone of you can try the CloD -> Desktop -> CloD taskswitching, when stuttering happens.

Would be nice if someone can report back if the stutters are gone after you switch back to CloD.

Greetings!

hi again!

got verified that if you got stuttering during online gaming, use Win key to get on desktop (Clod runs during that in the background) and directly change back in CloD by using Taskmanager or Alt + Tab!.

Stutters are gone if you do that! Have verified this now 3 Times!

I got stutters when i switched to dx10_1, but no blue lines then.

Back to dx10_0 -> stutters gone, blue lines back.

That one of the nice things about CoD providing DirectX 11 API support!

The game default to D3D10_0 'feature level' for those DX10 and DX11 compliant video cards

But you can try different 'feature level' rendering options to see if you get better performace

Here is a list of the the 'feature levels' that you can try out in yoru conf.ini file

Render=D3D11_0
Render=D3D10_0
Render=D3D10_1
Render=D3D9_1
Render=D3D9_2
Render=D3D9_3

I have been playing with the DX 11 'feature level' Even though 1C recomends DX 10, and I seem to be getting better FPS.. It is hard to tell right now for sure, in that the last patch seems to messed up FRAPS again. The down side to useing DX 11 'feature levels' is the grass looks like crap when your sitting on the runway

@Tvrdi: If you mean the desktop switching thing, yes I mentioned it in the bug thread.
