No problems for me either up until about half hour ago on the Repka #2 Server, Steppe map. 2 Lock ups within 15 minutes, the first for me since the official patch release. I hardly even get stutters since the patch went official.

I was in the air, between 8 and 10k altitude, no planes went in or bombs exploded in my near vicinity that I noticed, but several AI allied and axis bombers were flying as per servers messages.

Checked gpu and psu temps...all well within safe limits...no dump files created for either crash.

Explosions may be causing it, but if it is it must be the amount of explosions that lock it up as I have dropped bombs on ATAG server with no effect at all, not even a stutter.

Default some improvment

I have been doing several tests, and i seemed to extend my crash-free play by setting compatibility mode to Vista Service Pack 2, even tho i am running Win 7 Pro (64 bit), and I was formerly set to Win 7 Compatibility. This is non-networked standalone.

This won't do anything for ppl's online play i am sure...

i dunno, I am grasping at straws.

win 7 pro 64 bit
AMD phenom II 965 BE 3.4
8 gb GSkill RAM
2 x 5830 Crossfire

Guys, check the amount of RAM usage on your machines just before the crash!

It has been posted in the Bugs thread, there is a continous memory leak and when the system reaches 75-80% of the available memory, you are highly likely to experience the error.

Just in case...

interesting, I've seen those values as mentioned. Bit a of a shame that this wasn't fixed if it is true...
