popping buildings / lego buildings at redicoulous distances.

thsi needs fixing or big cities / cities at medium distance and close distance just look redicoulous.

YES! FIX IT!

And you'll run this sim in your VGA at 0.1FPS!

I use Buildings Amout and TExtures in HIGH: good compromise between performance and quality. I'm not in BF3 running on the streets with a gun...

With Buildings Amout set to UNLIMITED and Texture to ORIGINAL, you'll see less "LEGO buildings", for sure! But really i like the extra FPS provided by some more "LEGO"! I like LEGO!

My usual test when a new patch comes out:

Better fps with only some glitches...

so you are ok with thsoe ugly cities? thay just look worst than il2 where the transaction occours far mroe softely and fro mreatter distance.

Actually your example is just plain stupid, in BF3 you dont need too see more than 5 to 6 buildings since you are on the ground, in COD whoever you need too see from greater distances.

i like Lego too, or i used too. now what?

A pair more:

A close view on a heavily damaged Wellington with dead gunners, just before I whoot it to death. Navigator jumps without enought altitude to open the chute, and desperately moves when fallling to death...

Just an aerobatic test using a tower building as path up and down, rotating over the top:

You don't seen to grasp the concept of limited CPU/GPU resources...
