Yeah, not just for COD, newer games will require an upgrade, and don't believe the hype that the desktop / laptop is dead! tablets might be convenient but they're also seriously underpowered .. under everything actually! It'll take 5+ years before tablets get current laptop powers! IMHO

The overwhelming market is mobile and tablet computing. Games for PC's are becoming much more niche cultures now.

No not dead. But businesses are adopting more mobile devices now over the usual desktop. Mobile computing offers so much more to a foot soldier that travels a lot. From everyday business person to your latte yuppie. There is a new tablet out that cost $35 now. hehe I'll use these for a stocking stuffer next Christmas.
