Ok but now i have a new problem. After the village battle something odd happens: men who patrol the base and those wounded stand up and don't move also if attacked. I'm looking for the trigger error.

Update ,fourth mission is up .

it's called :

In The Belly Of The Snake .

This time you play as...surprise surprise ,U.S forces , the mission
starts with a quiet river patrol :

But not long after things get a bit messier and back up being called :

and of course the bigger guns :

the mission ends with a big river fight .

I have finished the first mission "Final Stand", it was awesome but I'm not able to run the second mission "Killing Fields".

When I press the "spacebar" to continue, the screen went blank and I press again, it close the whole program. Anyone have this error? I love this mod and please help.

can you post a screen shot of the error message you get ?

did anyone else had this problem with the last release (V04) ?

*in the meanwhile as a work around , go to :

C:\Documents and setting\%USERNAME%\My Documents\My Games\men of war:vietnam \profiles\player

(if you use other profile go to the active profile folder)

open the file game_progress.set with a text editor(back up the file
before in case you mess things up)

find the code :

{"single/vnewmissions/vmod2:0"

and add below it :
{completed}

then save and exit .

(you can see how it's done in the file itself with missions you all ready
finished, just imitate how it was done in previous missions )

anyway, that should open up the third mission in the game for you .

much much better ugopierini , good work .

so what about the map ? you want me to change it up a bit ?
(only map not the mission and not the mission main locations)
let me know, I'll release it in the next release .

I'll add in the read me file the name of each mission and who made it ,
so everyone will get credit (everyone at the moment is me and you
but everyone are welcome to contribute,we can make this community
project).

last thing , why did you added the AT grenades files ? they are all
ready in the game .

I'll think about map modifications . What's your idea?
I added AT grenades from the new Assault squad patch (Better icons).

Hello, wanted to know if anyone could do a We Were Solders mod based on the Ir Drang valley, I have attached a link to a order of battle and the events that took place at LZ XRAY and LZ ALBANY

http://www.wtj.com/articles/xray/

This request is made by the Vietnam War Living History Group, We would like to thank you for the missions, that you have created and would love for you to continue your work, most of us have already finished the all of the single player missions that came with the game and would love to have more challenges, it is because of you guys that we still play this awsome game.

Thank you guys

Well... my idea is anything that will make the map look fresher,
because like i said people all ready played this map on the original
campaign, and on a slightly modified version of it in my first mission .

anything goes , maybe to change the path of the river a bit (not the
bridge area) shave a few hills here ,add a few hills there ,make the village
a village and not 2 houses, change roads locations etc.

Thank you very much maj scott , the Ir Drang valley is a mission
i might be interested in doing in the future , however at the moment
I'm working on the Battle on Hill 937 ,aka Hamburger Hill .
and after that I'm going to make The Battle of An Lộc ,
maybe after that I'll make the IA DRANG 1965 defense of landing
zone X-RAY , thanks for the link, and the idea.

thomas ,this seems to be Direct3D related ,try to update your
video drivers or DirectX , also it seems you are the only one
that reported this problem so far , and that increase the chances
that the problem is on your end .

If anyone else had this problem, please let me know .
