Hi Basha,

We're all idiots during this learning process

Anyhow we installed the "complete" game via steam. To run as a dedicated server simply go to your library in steam and right click on IL2COD / properties / Set launch options. Type in the word "-server" without the quotes and say ok.

Now when you fire up the game, you should see a dos/dedi server window and your server is running!

Now you could make a .cmd file named bkhz.cmd and put in the documents/1csoft/il2cod folder (same place as the confs.ini)

inside your command file could be:

missLoad missions/Multi/Dogfight/yourmissionname.mis
battle start

missLoad to load the mission
battle start to start the battle
The directory should be self explanatory

So now all you need to do to run your mission is open up your dos/dedicated server box and type f bkhz.cmd and press enter. Then away you go. You should be up and running
