I'm using 4.10/4.10.1.
This because, i like my game to be updated and stay as realistic and stable as possible. I know there are other paches/mods available targeting to be more realistic more planes, etc. Which is a good thing. And i must say that i'm eager to try them, but won't. Simply because i think that there should be only one official supplier that can tune and manage the flight characteristics and add new features to the game if possible. It's about the whole product, not individual addons. But i hope that there will be a lot of great other planes/features produced by others/moders, added to the game as well by Daidalos. Because i know there is some good, and maybe usable, stuff available out there. I like to see one official community developing one great stable product. I run 4.101m with heavily modified DBW for offline play and switch to UP3 for online.
There are still quite a large contingent who run 4.09m as there was difficulty porting some mods over to 4.101m. Would say though (which is clear from this poll), the majority of IL-2 players use 4.101m

Online servers use the latest patch, thus "enforcing" me to use the latest patch also
