How do I get rid of the white/grey boxes?

Go with the mouse on top of a window, keep ALT pressed and left-mouse-click to select the window.

Now you can either delete it or resize it or move it or right mouse click to see the menu of options for this particular window.
(for resizing or moving, the frame of the window must be enabled - there is an option in the menu which enables/disables it)

Im having a problem, idk how but my engine control's (prop, radiator, throttle, mixture) window got stuck to the top left corner and I cant move it at all, I can resize the window and clear it but i cant do anything about moving it at all, i tried alt + left click holding it, double clicking anything, and it just will not move. what can i do to fix this?
