debating what to do, install, not install. givent he fps hits...just not sure. but leaning towards waiting for the beta to become official...its a hard choice....would love to see some videos of the new stuff though....my fps is very playable as it is, just afraid if I get a 10 fps hit, it might not be so playable...I realize this is a continuing work in progress..

ok Well i love this game here is my 2cent. 1 i was too hit by this fps thing it really hits hard on the 3rd level of zoomed in. other than that it feels soooooomuch smoother. 2nd I fixed my FPS hits and now the game runs like Butter. I use a SSD drive and do that whole memory drive with the bob files in an image and i load in the BOB parts that way, now when i do this OOOOOHHHH man we are talking like hot dripping butter off some steaming gold flapjacks. LOL muhahaha

Jimmy OUT!!!

Thank you so much BOB Team great update sure there will be a few more but its getting there.
P.S. I do not like the new way to select sides now u cant see how many are vr's and this is a Hugh problem when people are joining pub servers and there be no auto balance running witch suck any way. so don't do that in less its an option. any hoo my 2 cents,

Hey Jimmy,
I too have SSD drives. 2 of them raided. But what is this image file you speak of. Is it just how it is with the SSD drives or do I have to do something? Shed a little lite when you can brother.. I too like flap jacks..

They absolutely greatly improved everything.. Merlin and DB sound like heaven. Thank you!!
But the gun sounds... they are 100% worse if you ask me. Now the MGs sound like nothing, no feeling for the violence of the things at all. Or is this realistic?
And I think even in a closed cockpit with a engine in front of you the guns would be much louder.
I want the old gun sounds back!! The 109's MG17 were perfect...

I believe that's realistic. Engine sound kills the MG sounds drastically in real life.

Agreed. Many People ignore how incredible "loud" those engines back then were. Lots of the gun sounds is eaten by that. And I consider the new sounds very very fitting to that, as only the higher frequencies manage to penetrate that massive bass box in front of the pilot.

Extrmely cool patch, the whole game looks much more solid, much more "integrated". I got those FPS hits, too, but maaaan, I can live with that for now given the other improvements.

Thanks!
