I live in a basement, and I pretend to be a WW2 pilot (because there's no way I can afford to do the real thing) And I'm a nerd

Back on topic, the only people I'm ever going to trust to give any kind of valid opinion on what tracers should look like for THIS sim, is someone who's regularly fired tracer rounds, at another aircraft, whilst flying at 300kph+ (specifically between the months of July and October in 1940...over the Channel)

Or someone who's sat in an aircraft having tracers rounds pummled at them at over 300kph+

Agreed. Even then the few that are still alive probably didn't spend much time evaluating what their tracers looked like.
