I'm sure the developers are well aware of all the problems, and quickly peruse the forums for problems people are having, but at the moment there are probably far to many problems to be fixed to have to time to respond. When things settle down to a more managable list they will have more time to address the issues in the forums. If they weren't they wouldn't bother making the betas available to the public a week before the steam release.
