I have the free version and it records with the latest official patch so check before paying for a Fraps full license.

The requirement to enable Aero and check the Monitor Aero box in Fraps had been identified earlier in the thread as was the problem that Fraps will only work in Pseudo with this latest patch.

What hasn't been established is if anyone is able to use Fraps in Full screen with the latest patch.
