And if it does, it will be 3rd person only

timej31,

this is an OT thread, discussing news of a game of the same genre and the same time period. If you don't want to think of more than one simulator at a time, nobody forces you to read this thread or join the discussion.

I have said before that I hope it's okay to discuss this here, and if it's not and a moderator disallows it I won't argue about it. However there are other sims discussed OT on this forum without problem in a pleasant and informative manner. So, I was discussing.

I feel I have done or said nothing here that's insulting or derogatory to anyone and that would call for a reaction such as yours. That's just uncalled for.

MAC I have not been anything but completely supportive of all sims regardless. As I said in my very first reply to this off topic thread "I will indeed buy it just to support the development of more flight sims." I also alluded to the fact that "I will end up owning but I will (like many others sitting my desk right now) use the disk as a drink coaster".

Why don't you request they create a forum for these post in the root of this site rather than selectively placing them into the Cliffs of Dover forums? As I said before I never saw this in the IL-2 Sturmovik forums. I am still waiting for this to appear over there so we do not discriminate or forget about them. I know they will absolutely love it.

Whatever it takes ya know. I don't care. I will support the business only because I want more development in this but I still stand by what I said earlier. I will do it only for you and the others that play it even though I will probably end up giving it away to someone else.

They have a dedicated forum, I think an OT thread here doesn't hurt anyone, it only brings awareness to people, of the development.

Well if it wasn't off topic I would love to post that I have a nice water cooled gaming rig for sale on eBay and it's only $500. I will even pick up the shipping charges. But I wont post that here. You can see how quickly that can get out of hand. You allow it for this but not for that. And just as good a case for allowing the PC selling in here that is perfect for Cliffs of Dover can be made as that game was for posting here. Where do you draw the line? The goalpost move a lot.

I wonder if the favour will be reciprocated on Gajin's forums? or will it be the obligatory s**tfest? lets face it Cliffs has had so many knives in the back from every other flight sim community yet people still can't resist the urge to s**t on the doorstep here.

timej31,

I can't see why you objected so strongly to the discussion here, especially since you say you're supportive of new developments. I'm not aware of you objecting OT discussions of other sims.

Since you asked why I haven't posted this info on the IL-2 forum, the answer is that I never played IL-2 and am not familar with that forum. I'm however interested in CoD and am here very frequently.
