It might be that your pc is extensively accessing the harddisk and is too busy to serve the mouse also.

Try reinstalling .NET Framework 4 from the MS site.
You may also try installing this update on top of it: Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Platform Update 1 - Runtime Update (KB2478063) http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/e...displaylang=en I do not now if it installs automatically after .net reinstall.
