i found the previous lightening also more convincing than the new one.in my opinion there is too less light on midday and the sunset looks two pink now.
dont know why they messed up the one thing that was perfect in my view.

nice step forward making pink skies, more art and less everyday stuff

plz dont get mad with me i like pink purple skies

so im gald the y made it pink, now if the could add it some electric blue and purple

edit:

also plz make nicer stars from up in clean air you can clearly see the milky way

edit:

i past the last 10 years studying nautics

the only and exclusive reason why i did this was seeing nice stars while sailing

best place to see stars from the dark sea

i feel a bit disapointed with those just spots in the sky

ive been thinking that in our domain of pc games and the quest for reality sometimes real life is boring & quite repetative in that respect. 1C and there design of there ww2 title simply want to stylise it in there own way. if every simulation was hell bent on realism at every single level it would all look the same. and thats not what they want or I. It is what it is. the OP suggests there is somthing wrong but this is incorrect. its very very right in my eyes along with some necessary stylisation.

Britain and pretty much all of Europe during the first half of the 20th Century were burning coal (yes, even in the summer). Add the fact that this was an especially dry summer/fall and you have lots of particles (dust, sand, coal) in the air. When you have a high particle density in the air during a sunrise or sunset you get a reddish/pinkish colour. People in smoggy areas will confirm this.

Now CloD doesn't have dynamic weather, so they cannot have multiple sunset variations depending on season and particle counts for that day/week, so all the sunrises and sunsets are going to look similar.

From what I can see, the pink is accurate.

just went to try some skinning out today. and now im in complete agreement. i dont like the new lighting. the colour balance is good but the gamma or general light everywhere is wickedly bright at times. it seems to have even less contrast bright to dark than it did before. it felt more vibrant previously. before the change the rivetts and panel details were semi hidden now there out there far to visible without any way to really tone them down. i enjoyed bringing that detail out myself through the skin.
