Noticed three general improvements:

Higher FPS at higher graphics setting and normal GPU load.

No more twitching super-rolling AI. (Yes AI still does some violent manouvers, but now not the crazy-rolls)

Force Feedback is excellent, but: when you run out of ammo, the stick still shakes when pressing cannon/mg buttons. should be a quick fix

With the latest patch can someone else see if they can select one of the preloaded tracks. I click on select but nothing happens. Cheers

This might be related the new full screen mode. If you turned off 'Aero' desktop composition for Launcher.exe then try putting it back on and you'll see the standard windows File Select dialog.

How do you turn on FFB? I don't seem to have any on my G940.

S!

Ok, cleared Cache and re-launched game. Graphical issues solved. Stutter was still there no matter what so began testing. Finally disabled Grass = game smooth as ever. The FPS is much more solid at higher detail levels and resolutions. Still at Free Flight over France the industrial complexes noticeably kill FPS.

The "3 stripes of horizon" are visible up to around 1200m (~4000ft) and after that they begin to blend to the fog disappearing from sight. Not a game killer for me, but sure worth a look.

Shadows flicker on trees mostly, clouds are fine. Tracks can not be used as testing for graphical things as there ALL shadows flicker, also the ones from clouds. But noticed increase in average FPS in Black Death, which is more important than maximum. Also minimum was bit better. We could use a Loop option for tracks like in old IL-2 as they seem to run better after a few times.

The console error messages are not present in QMB at least so must be track related issues. Can it be that if track is made on other machine/version it MIGHT cause these messages in current version?

A few more patches and we will see how CrossFire will work. Eagerly waiting for that as I have another 6970HD pending already Make sure to file driver feedback to AMD if any issues, but would good to hear from Luthier & Team of their experiences/issues with AMD so we can report things that actually are from drivers, not the game code.

Back to testing.

Here too, 10-15 fps drop.
Vsync see to be ok, and the Sim feels to be running more robust.

Had played with grafical options and notice that changing "Building Detail" from Low to Very High had no impact on system perfomance, in low flight.

Good Easter!

P.S. My grafic card is ATI HD 5700
