R@S - you really need bayonets on those to be effective in a knife fight
Also - maybe create one level for boot camp where only melee weapons are available? |

I've always found bayonets and knives to be awful. You run up to an enemy, and you attempt to stab him.. before you've stabbed him, he will have hit you instead. You're now shocked, and he's just going to hit again. And again. And again. A stupid stunlock.
I've only used a bayonet succesfully when an enemy was properly shocked. Then again, at point blank you might as well fire a round from the hip.. |

@Tozmeister: Yes. Yes, yes yes, and yes. Starship Troopers FTW.
@ R@s: Stop taunting us with toys only you can play with. I want that M14 EBR. On that subject, why does it use the m14-mount scopes? My platoon's EBRs used Picatinny mount scopes. Whoever is making these models needs to quit his day job and start making digital small arms for a living. @Worbah: I always carry a Ka-Bar or an AK bayonet. If both my primary and my pistol run out, my blade never does. And maintaining stealth is tough in the early game before you get silencers. Getting a stealth knife kill at night is rewarding. Throwing knives just take up space IMO. Not sure, but it seems that stabbing an enemy in the back either mortally wounds or outright kills him. |
