Ok, first of all "bad code" doesn't "fry your video card" You didn't post any specs, but mine is an ATI 6970 and the fan runs so low in COD I cannot hear it.. How long have you had the card? There are other games out there that are MORE GPU intensive than COD.If you card is in the low 70's for normal use something is not right, doesn't sound like the cooler is working properly..
