Wrong, protection with steam is not solid, within a couple of days of this game going live a working cracked copy was out on torrent sites, and trust me for every update, there will be a new crack
And a lot of the people that download them, do infact end up buying the game, because as much as you can play single player, you cant play multiplayer

Oh OK I still download music from frostwire and an occasional movie so sue me.

I have every intention to buy CloD in USA when its done being optimized...whenever that is!

Once downloaded, installed and all, start playing and find out it's crippled. That's how strong protection works now. As was reported earlier, none of those copies work properly.

That's always the downside of pirate copies and as you say, many then buy the game for that reason, offline is okay for a while, but the type of people that download torrents are most likely the type that like online action.
