I have found that it is necessary to start and take off in Lean mixture setting according to the cockpit animation, the actual mixture and the lever animation seem to be reversed. The cockpit lever and Rich/Lean positions are correct (Rich rearward, Lean forward) but I can't get enough power in Rich, as it should be, only in Lean. You can check this out in the Training "First Solo" in the Hurricane.
Of course that limits the power and revs.
