I haven't done much tweaking yet as i only got it yesterday.

I have the 1Gb version of the card. First thing i tried was two sorties on the coast (so not completely over land neither completely over water), first was a free flight in the 109 and the next was the bomber intercept mission with five 109s vs 9 blenheims.

FPS was good in the free flight, until descending to 1km or so where the stutters started. Stutters got worse below 300m of altitude. In the combat mission i was getting stutters when closing to less than 300m from the bombers. Both of these were with low or no clouds, performance was worse with more clouds enabled.

Long story short, if the FPS was steady it would be perfectly playable for me. It's the stutters/unstable FPS that cause the problems and not the overall achievable FPS.

The rest of my main specs are win7 x64, 3GB RAM (triple channel 1Gb sticks) and an i7 920 at the stock 2.7GHz clock speed.

Graphics settings was forest and building distance on low, everything else medium, roads/shadows/grass on, 1680x1050, 2xAA.

I haven't done any conf.ini tweaks at all neither took the time to dig around with graphics settings in detail yet, just a quick and dirty test after installing last night.
