There's more accounts of airplanes returning with big chucks of their plane missing. The reason why they are uncommon is that the pilot often preferred to jump out as soon as he saw something missing, I wouldn't like to attempt a landing in such situation as well...

Guess no one read the link I posted about this aircraft.... it got pranged by another avenger that had its wing blown away as it spin it took a chunk out of this aircrafts wing AND also hit the fuselage, if you look you can see its all bent out of shape.

sigh, it has already been explained what other a/c will look like with settings turned down (AFIK they look fine from inside your own a/c), are ppl deliberately posting this shite to wind everyone up? I'm starting to get that impression....

as, unfortunately, am I.

It seems odd that some are posting on near full graphics with reasonable computers (5870's, q8400's etc) and yet others with crap computers are complaining that the game looks bad. Of course it looks bad, thats like trying to play this on a Sega Genesis and saying it doesn't work!

nope, nor the graphics card tbh. wasn't the i5 used for the demo at 2.8ghz or something?
