for bar work i much rather the arc welder for better steel penetration. I find that mig welds tend to crack before the pipe bends.
Ive got a good gas mig welder from cigweld and find its better used for exhaust, body sheet work ect than heavy applications. A good weld from a arc welder will see the pipe bend before the weld cracks. |

yeah id agree with that but from his point of view and lack of money i can see he does not have that sort of $$$$ laying around for a quallity mig that can do the job. But you can get a good arc cheap as that will do the job 100%
