I've often wondered the same thing, with peoples complaints about colors. Every monitor displays colors differently and you can have a huge range of color outputs with the slight touch of a slider in the control panel of your monitor or graghics card settings.

In fact, they look the same as those from Forgotten Battles, long time ago... Modded clouds of Il-2 1946 look better - than these presented so far. If March release is true: it is last moment to present "new clouds"... or admit that there are no "new clouds"... no diversity in clouds shapes. Last edited by Sasha; 01-23-2011 at 01:34 AM. |

Or Birds Of Prey to witch SoW has allways been compared ?Do you think that during the 6 years of making CoD (SoW) nothing as been done regarding the clouds ? Remember the pilot bailout movie ? The ground detail, trains, trucks and the selection of trees and leaves... Do you beleive Oleg would have done this in priority to a new weather system...? It is a flight simulator, and 90 % of the action will be in the air...So...I presume that Oleg is aware of this... ![]() It will be gorgeous... Oleg's reputation is at stake here....And he's a brilliant man....So brace for inpact... Salute ! |

Oleg has had alt least one team member programming clouds and weather for 5 or 6 years.
They won't look like IL2 clouds. Stop worrying about it.
