Yep, my vote here too!
I would also like to see a linux dedicated server version.
No rebooting of my precious Linux server into microsh*t anymore to host this beautiful game
Let the game rule on linux performance and stability!

If 1c's previous commitment to stable and optimized network play is any indication, we can be sure that they'll do their best to provide as many options as possible. I doubt they will not include a dedicated server of some sort, so it's almost certain there will be a windows based dedicated server application.

As for Linux, i support the idea but i'm not holding my breath for a native solution on release, but it will probably run on emulation and maybe they will consider it at a later date.

There have been so many features to include and the dev team has been forced to axe some of them with the aim of including them in future releases and patches. With a bit of luck, we'll see a linux native server application among those updates.
