Unlike the Xbox, the PS3 can use USB PC joysticks (i.e X52's, etc). This is one of the requirements COEN020 is looking for. A fair number of folks are using the popular PC sticks with PS3 BOP. Doesn't matter which PC stick he buys it appears that mapping them in PS3 games is the problem if his stick is not listed with a default set up. Console games offer mapping and customisation but is restricted to what the developers have built into their set up menu's.
