Forgive me, but I don't want to be a doubter, but could you tell me when that post was made?

I'd like to see an official announcement, in some public means rather than just on this forum in a post.

I'd love to believe it but I want to see a press release before i get my hopes up.

cheers trk, i dont want to be "that guy" the nay-sayer, its just I remember the arguments and the speculations that caused flame wars back when the game 1st came out. I'd just hate to see that again.

I'd love to see a sequel, but i just think raising people's hopes for something that may not come is potentially inflammatory. especially when no evidence can be used to support all the wishful thinking. by building stuff up before you even know what it is, the company can barely be able to meet expectations, let alone exceed them. but i'll take a look at your link thanks trk.

Ive seen this so many times before on other game forums and it only causes trouble. You can't just come and give people good news without any information on how you know this. You were unaware that BoP is no longer suported and now suddenly you speak like you have inside knowllage. I wish it is true but I'm sorry, I cannot believe this without more evidence. I will gladly eat my words if you can tell us more on how you got this information.

You and House can have your opinion on this. For some it's good news that there will be sequel to BOP, others may ignore it until an official announcement is made. You may also think of me what you want, but I don't owe you an explanation. And I can and will not say more in the subject than I already have.

BoP sold 6-700,000 copies worldwide? That's a fair number for a niche title so I can't see why a sequel is not in the works. The new Guitar Hero sold something like 80,000 copies in it's release window so that's a dead series, BoP will be back I am sure.

Just curious because I have no idea where to go to look at the stats, was that over both platforms wookie?

Yeah thats both 360 and PS3. There was a thread long ago where sales figures were discussed so that number had probably increased since then.
The sales on PS3 were about 80-100k higher hence the PS3 getting the patch due to higher user base (IIRC)

I remember at least 2 occasions where it was obvious that you'd spoken to someone from either the Devs or the publishers in the past (the sponsoring of a competition was one of them).. 1 cheeky question, have you spoken to them again?

I don't think anything I can say here will convince those who insist on hard evidence, so they'll just have to wait and see. And if you read my previous posts here, I've already stated that my source is authentic. It comes down to if you believe what I say is true or not.

Anybody's choice, free world. Anyway it's nice to see that everybody wants the sequel, so in the end everone's gonna be happy.
