It could be caused by the Firewall of your family network
If there is a firewall set up in your family network, that may causes SOME games won't be able to connect to internet.
Try your friends' PS3 for this function on this game and see if that works. But my problem now is there is no match for me to join, I tried many times, seems nobody like this game now.
