Please tell me more about the mission, from the name I'm not sure which mission you're referring to.

I haven't played that mission since I got the English version of the game, and before that I always just went there and killed everyone, it's more fun that way.

But since I've been looking into the code I know a few things about it. You need to use Pereira to get past the guards, and you should use the Palinero uniforms on your team as well. most of the events in that mission are triggered when you reach certain locations, I think the Pereira dialog is one of those situations. And the dynamite you get from the depot traders is all you need, when you reach the right spot it'll be planted and the mission should be completed. Hope it helps.
