I'm defending JOED as I think your wrong by calling him. Sadly these boards have decended to an absolutely stupid level of name calling and abuse and I for one am pretty sick of it. I come on here to enjoy myself when I'm not able to fly and talk with the people who I fly with but these past two weeks have seen me really question why waste my time. The only thing keeping me here is that I believe in amongst the rubbish currently being posted there is some seriously useful, interesting, helpful and humourous bits that often help make my day. Plus I get to socialise when I'm not flying with one great bunch of mates. That's my reasoning at the minute. If people are not careful this will become a wasteland rather than the Elysium it currently is.

What has really saddened me is how this forum has denegrated into just one big slanting match that has not only left the game but become extremely personal to some people. That's what pisses me off. Where's the enjoyment in watching grown adults abuse each other?? Sad reflection on what was a great forum

Exactly my sentiments, I have gleaned a great deal of sage wisdom, tips and camraderie from the short time I have been on these forums and would hate to see it devolve into something like the AR-15 forums.

Amen. in the short time i have been here i have met some great people and learned a great deal just reading. it would be sad to see anyone leave because of a few moments of emotion...which no one is immune and everyone suffers from time to time.
