is it just me or does anyone else prefur the il2 and il2m over the il10?

No, most of what I know is written in the well-known book "Fighter Combat Tactics and Maneuvering" by Robert Shaw, retired US Navy pilot. That's the expert source. Other than that, just my opinions from playing this and a few other sims for a while, and the limited stuff like E-M diagrams that I can find on sites like simhq.

If you look around, you can probably download the old edition of Shaw from the web, not sure how legal it is, but it is there.
