Super duper confused - can someone clarify?

I have the Atari Version (boxed retail copy). It is version 1.6.5 (build 3468 I can't find any date later than 8-18-2008 in the primary files. Does this mean I've been playing with the wrong version all this time?

You are right, this patch is almost the same as 1.6.5 for Atari verison.

The reason I ask is I'd like the other small improvements available for 1.7 if they're not in my current version of the game.
