Thumbs down

Here is something I found, yesterday I bought the Saitek Av8r for the xbox. After playing with it for a few hours, I ended up with carpal tunnel syndrome. The thing has only 4 buttons on the stick, and twisting the stick for rudder while pulling back in a high G turn and all the while keeping an eye on ur target or using the gunner camera with the hat switch is very hard to do. The rest of the functions such as zoom and the map are on the base of the unit, and trying to keep the whole thing from rocking all over your knees where you have to hold it with your other hand sucks. No force feedback and the noticeable deadzone also sucks, and I can safely say that clicking in the controller to look is now not such a bother, even if you loose your rudder to do it. The ergonomics of the dpad are its saving grace, and not to mention it has more buttons. Plus, I have never had any cramps from using the pad and the force feedback with the precise control you have make me play way better. I cant wait for the customizable button mapping the patch will bring. A shameful fact, with the stick it took me 30 mins to down five Po-2's in a Spitfire...Needless to say I am returning it soon.
