This is a million dollar photograph. I have never seen the white ID color so far back on the nose. I noticed Huzzar intends to release a 1:48 109E decal of an aircraft of with a similar white nose.

There were individual units (i.e. parts of I./JG 52) which did use white instead of yellow, but most units followed the orders from JaFü 2 and 3 to the letter and applied the ID markings in yellow.
