Game developers keep trying to convert the popular PC games to a watered down versions for consoles.
You can't expect such a game as IL-2 to be compared in any way to BoP. Hardware limitations will not allow it to happen. The original IL-2 series community has had a long and hardcore following for many years. The mission builders and skinners are some of the most dedicated modders in the flight sim genre.
