DEVS DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS MAN, HE IS INSANE! Jk, but if it don't got a pure sim mode, I ain't playing it. Target acquisition and tracking is a part of the skill set, either get good at it or play realistic but we should still have the option IMO. I take your point on one community but there are different levels of server for the PC vers. like virtual cockpit/closed cockpit, historical servers, ones with ID tags on etc. and that community thrives. The plain fact is not enough players either bought or have stuck with the game, probably due mainly to a really bad lobby system and a demo that highlights the games flaws (bad P-51 flight model).

If there were more people playing, and a more compelling MP system with ranks and stats etc, I think we would see players advancing through the difficulty levels and staying with the game. Lets face it though, I have fun playing MP in BoP but it seems like a bit of an afterthought, is it any surprise it hasn't caught on fire?
