This one time I was flying a strike match, and almost everyone on my team picked a bomber, and the other team had a B-17. I'm more of a bomber guy myself when it comes to strike, but I knew we would be crushed if we didn't have some fighter support.

I picked the 109 E-3 (I wanted to work towards the unlock for the he-111-h3). Now an E3 going up against a B17 is not great odds, but I held my ground and had damaged my enemy pretty bad. He was almost within range of doing huge damage to our targets,and I had taken some engine damage and was having trouble keeping up.

Then, seemingly out of nowhere, my squadmate dives on the B17 and finishes it off! The last thing on my mind was to call him a kill stealer of something ridiculous like that, I was so pumped we took down the B17. I wish I had my mic to thank him, but we ended up winning the match so that may have been enough.

yep seems ppl just love to down the b17 ..
and im no different i was in a strike match all my team mate went for spits and hurris and there team had bombers and a b17 i decided to fly the bf110 16 or whatever its called (its late and ive been to the pub all night) and was looking throu the gunner view at the b17 in the distance so i let rip i didnt even think he was in range but i saw the fireball start to hurtle to the ground i was so amazied i carried on watching it all the way to the ground not noticing that i myself was in a dive and boom

I remember winning an Arcade Dogfight against Hurris and Spits in an A-20. I don't actually know how I did it but it was awesome.

Another time, I had set cloud to low, with blind, so we're all flyning around lost, then almost simultaneously we burst up through the clouds. I see an enemy about to fly above me, so I let rip with the guns, and I shot him down. I spun the plane around and saw this fireball go back through the clouds. It was amazing

Tonight we were playing capture the airfield on sim mode. I was flying an I16 with bombs and I pulle some negative Gs and the engine died. So I glided down and landed and just sat on the field right in between two big fires. I just sat in my cockpit looking around at all the mayhem around me when suddenly an enemy IL2 pulls a smoking loop right in front of me. It looked like an airshow lol. And then moments later I look over to my left and two teammates come streaking in flying formation (it was Danny booze and foz or mirgervin I think) and finish him off before he could bomb me. I wish I could have recorded that match from my view. It was like being in a movie

Yup id be their, wouldnt of known you were hiding had you not told us lol. The IL2 in question caused me ALOT of damage!! i got on its 6 and didnt realise it was an IL2 at first, by the time i realised it was to late, he had me smoking!! i think it was lil GUNNY lil flying the IL2, not sure though. By the time i respawned he had already crashed and burned.

Suprised you could land on that runway to lol, it was a mess!!!

Had a few actually, remember an arcade Strike in Catania, we had all the coastal positions and the Opfor the single battleship with all 500 tickets on board. We had a B-17 on our team so I figured it was easy street, but there were 2 chaps in I-16's who really knew what they were doing and shot it and it's gallant escort down almost simultaneously. I had lagged at the start so was just approaching this in my Emil.

Knowing the same thing would just happen again, as they only had one target to defend, I dived straight down at the and cracked one open while keeping speed up to keep his wingman off my back, off course he just respawns above the ship so that was no good and I knew the B-17 was coming to it's inevitable death again, so I flew up towards him again (his wingman still in tow) missed him but just flew on too the south making sure they followed me, which they did and so began the most turny, twisty, G-forcey, controller breakingly 3 minutes I've ever had on IL2. It was all very worth it though when I led them back just in time to see our bomber bust their ship open completely unmolested. Game won, though the back of my plane was holier than a bishop.

Apart from that though would be any of the times i got postgame messages from guys complimenting my playing or asking for advice
