Somebody else that's seeing my point; finally!!! (Re: my thread 'Don't you feel ripped off as a Console Gamer?'). Although I completely forgot about the fantastic SWOTL; & like you say - some 20 years ago.
Even Over G Fighters (IMO), is a runaway winner, up against BoP in the realism, immersion, controlabilty & customization/replayability depts.

Like everything nowadays, it's all quantity rather than quality. As in, the companies don't really care about what's in the game and how it looks. But they just want to put out as much as possible. No matter how the end result is. You can't blame Anton and the other dev's. I'm sure if it was up to them, it would have been a true quality game. Like games WAY long ago were.
