As far as I know Dragon Rising is to feature four player co-op for the entire single player camaign. That alone could be a huge selling factor, as players have been asking for that kind of thing for years. Me, im going to wait and see what its like either from playing a demo or one of my friends playing it.

If BoP was only 4v4 MP with an extremely restricted flight ceiling and boundary then it would almost be as bad as Dragon Rising.

I love tactical shooters and they're extremely rare these days but DR just looks like a mess at this point. They're marketing has been absymal: releasing pre-rendered video and "screenshots" and passing them off as in-game by being vague, making promises and ridiculous claims we now know they cannot back-up and constantly piggy backing Operation Flashpoint's name.

Why you would buy it on console with no mission editor, only 2 game modes with only 4 maps and a maximum of 8 real players is beyond me. The DLC will be priced afaik but then I guess the people who are willing to put down €50/60 for a game with the above content are willing to be fleeced.

The PC version is just a port of the console game with a built-in player cap of 32 with the same hard-wired restrictions on map size. But the real nail in it's coffin is no dedicated server files.

Rent it. Finish the campaign in a weekend and save your money for something better.

Or keep your miserable negative opinion to yourself, don't judge others who do appreciate the MANY good trailers and screenshots they have put out, of what appears to be an intricately detailed military simulation, which you in all likelihood dislike because you know you don't have the ability to play it with any great skill because you can't bunny-hop and won't have a nice pretty flashing HUD with which to spot the enemy coming.

And by trying to relate the gameplay of BoP being constrained to the same manners of OPFLASH is nothing short of retarded as they are two very different game types. Also you're neglecting the squad system which will be implemented, which for bomber formations would be a handy translation.

frankly you are clearly an over opinionated moron, who lacks the social skills to appreciate that others are entitled to like things you do not. cretin.
