first of all sorry for my English as I'm Italian. I read in this forum that most of you have serious slowdowns problems with Cryostasis. I want you to say that there is a way to completely resolve these problems if you have a Nvidia graphics card (at least series eight). I tried on myself and I completely resolved all the slowdowns and framerate drops in the game: the only thing you have to do is to download this driver (9.09.040)http://www.nvidia.it/object/physx_9....8_whql_it.html after having applied the common patch v1.1 that you can find here http://download.nvidia.com/downloads...hysX_Patch.exe
Remember, only two things: 1) patch 1.1; 2) driver (9.09.040). That's all!
Before, I had to play the game 1024x768, all settings medium and pixel shader 3.0 to get acceptable framerate with my geforce 9800 GTX+ and qx9300. Now, with this method I can play very well at 1920x1200, all settings high and pixel shader 4.0: no framerate drops, no slowdowns! I finished the game with no problems! All levels will run properly! Just try and let me know! I hope this can help!
This does not solve the massive frame rate drops on a 64-bit OS. The game still stutters badly without full multi-core support.
