you are right, there is no way to know how many matches you won, or how many kills you have. you will have to record it youself
There is a achievement for winning 50 strike games, so at least when you get that one, you know you won 50 games, now all you need to figure out, is how many you won with a fighter .

If you play on ranked matches then it will show on the leaderboard, how many wins you've had / how many targets destroyed I think?

No the number on the leaderboard under joypad is games played, not games won - I tested it with my 30 dogfight win trophy

And to the OP, you don't need to worry about all this ranked/player match business - PS3 just has online games. But you will need to keep a track of how many you've won on a bit of paper or something. Maybe the dev's thought it would be more authentic if you had to mark all your own kills/wins lol.

Instead of going to Player Match, go to Ranked Match. A little less players there though, so you might have to wait a while.

How do you even find your own score on the leaderboards?

When I bring up the leaderboards, there isn't any way to see my score or position...I just see the top 12, and can only slowly scroll down 12 at a time.

You should see your position first. You probably haven't played Ranked games yet. Are you on Xbox or PS3?
