do casualties in the training missions count as real casualties in the final record?

Thanks for the confirmation. I restarted already and had no casualties on the tutorial missions by avoiding the green dragon (not much of an XP loss anyways).

I guess this would put my other started thread on hold (tips on no casualties on impossible), but I figured since I restarted, might as well up the ante by making it no casualties and finish the game with a high score (7 days or less, at least level 30, solve all or almost all quests).

I'm assuming dismissing troops is not counted as casualties, but I'm avoiding this as well anyways by just placing unwanted units in castles; just to be on the safe side this time around.
