I am so confused about what patch to download.

What gets me is there is still no news from D2D,they dont seem interested in anything other than selling games,if you look at there patch pages,there are a number of games that have several patches released on the same day which suggests they have a 'lets do aload of patches' day each month & they dont let anything interfere with the fact that customers are not happy.
