this is a random wild speculation but i think there are two ways to achieve an enhanced 3d perception, naturally or artificially

No such thing as enhanced 3D perception in the 'real' world, all you are playing with is stereoscopy which is simply making 3D illusions out of 2D images, meanwhile the rest of us in the real world are more than aware of 3D perception with real depth, I can stand at a cliff edge and see its a long way down.....better not jump.
