I am planning on getting an i7 3660k, nvidea 580 3mb, 8gb ram, solid state hard drive, on windows 7 64bit. The current pc I use was built in 2004 so it does not run any new games. I think I got my return on my investment with 7 years of pretty hard use.
Hopefully this rig should be able to run whatever modded version of il2 is out. Unfortunately I will probably hold off on COD until the merged version comes out with Moscow battle. To many issues and unknowns for me to deal with the frustration. I know that this rig may be at the low end by then but DCS A-10 Il2 modded, and ArmA3 are really looking like they will occupy my time until then.
