So what's next?

14 Oct 2011 see the dev's ironing out bugs in beta patch v15866. I know that Luthier said he had something up his sleeve that there has been much speculation about. Then there was talk of work on a map-making sdk.

Can anyone point me to any firm information about what comes next after patch v15866 (no speculation please)?
