I have asked naturalpoint about official trackir support and got this reply:

"With Oleg's rather sudden departure from 1C, we've been trying to reconnect with their dev team. We'd like to get a new profile up for CoD, but the change has to happen in their code. Right now, I can't promise "

So, if someone could contact them there might be some more fixes.
