formations for infantry

would it be nice if infantry units could have few different setup of formations how to deploy them? now in game u have to seperately spread mens all around, so they cant be killed with one grenade/HE shell.

loose line for a one example where there is room between soldiers.

it would ease a bit controllin units and still keep squad as a squad.
